Summary: Chalaran is an early-stage premium beauty brand focused on overnight skincare for modern urban life. They are seeking a Design Intern to help shape the visual direction of the brand, providing practical exposure to premium brand-building in a startup context. Responsibilities: - Support visual storytelling across social media and the Chalaran website - Social media visual concepts and layouts - Web page visual direction and content layouts - Visual storytelling for product and brand messages - Creative references for premium beauty and lifestyle communication - Visual research across skincare, beauty, and digital brand presentation - Organization of visual references and brand assets Required Qualifications: - Currently studying or recently completed studies in design, visual communication, branding, graphic design, or a related field - Strong eye for layout, typography, mood, color, and visual storytelling - Interest in beauty, lifestyle, premium branding, or startups - Comfortable working independently in a remote setting - Able to take ownership of ideas and explore visual directions proactively - Comfortable using Figma or any other design tools you prefer to work with - Portfolio, work samples, or visual projects to share Preferred Qualifications: - Resume is optional Required Skills: Visual Communication, Branding, Graphic Design, Layout Design, Typography, Visual Storytelling, Color Theory, Figma, Creative Ownership, Proactive Exploration Benefits: Academic credit may be supported where applicable and where approved by your school, A letter of recommendation or LinkedIn recommendation may be provided for strong performance
