Janitorial Cleaner — Weekend Position (Saturday & Sunday)

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitorial Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our facilities. This is a recurring weekend position scheduled every Saturday and Sunday, with 8-hour shifts each day.

In this vital role, you will help ensure all areas are clean, sanitized, and well maintained, creating a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, and trash removal.
• Clean and maintain common areas, lobbies, bathrooms, management office areas, and outdoor amenity spaces as assigned.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals and follow all established safety and sanitation procedures.
• Move supplies, furniture, and equipment using safe lifting practices.
• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify management when products or equipment need replenishment or repair.
• Report maintenance concerns, damage, or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Maintain a professional, dependable, and customer-service-focused presence while on site.

Requirements

• Prior janitorial, custodial, commercial cleaning, or residential cleaning experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment operation, and floor care, including buffing and polishing.
• Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and follow safety procedures.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, walk, and perform cleaning duties throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.

Schedule: Every Saturday and Sunday, 8 hours per day.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 per week
