Rate AI Comedy Roasts (18+) - Start Today, Paid Weekly - US, Canada & Mexico

Scorchly is an 18+ AI roast app. We're training our North American comedy model and need people with a native feel for American, Canadian and Mexican humour to tell us which roasts actually land. No writing, no calls, no experience needed - just a phone or laptop and a sense of humour.

We're bringing on a large group of raters for this round, so there is plenty of room - you don't need to wait to be picked.

Who this is for

- You live in the US, Canada or Mexico, or grew up there

- You're 18 or over. The content is adult roast humour: crude, personal and mean (never racist or sexist)

- Fluent English and a good ear for what's genuinely funny

The work

You'll see a roast card and swipe: right = funny, up = meh, left = not funny. Rate on any device, whenever you like. Each trainer can log up to 10 hours, and this round runs until Sunday 29 November 2026 or until we reach our target, whichever comes first.

3. You'll be issued a trainer ID (it looks like SCT-XXXXXX). Paste it into your proposal so we can match you to your contract and pay you

Pay

- US$5 per hour of rating time, tracked automatically by the portal. Only active rating time counts.

- Paid through Upwork every week for the hours you tracked Monday to Sunday.

- Minimum payout of 3 hours: if a week comes in under that, the hours roll forward and are paid in the first week your total reaches it. Nothing is lost.

- We can only pay you once you've posted your trainer ID on Upwork and accepted our contract.
