Service Engineer - No Experience Welcome / 8 hour Night Shift / Woodland

Responsibilities

• To perform work in Pre-Development / Thermal - Mechanical development, so as to deliver satisfactory quality work / products against project requirements & within agreed timeline. Products of work includes
• Assist in principle investigation, technical feasibility and prototype evaluation – taking ownership to deliver on assignment
• Support demonstration of new ideas / principles
• Designing of tests to obtain required data (e.g., pressure, temperature etc.)
• Setting up of test / instrumentation / equipment, as well as performing/monitoring of the test, according to safe working practice, guideline & work instructions
• For chemical lab work: chemical / lacquer preparation, substrate treatment, coating (print, spray), characterization, chemical handling according to work instructions
• Provide preliminary data analysis based on the test objectives and results
• Create test reports and appropriate documentation as required

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics
• Working with Microsoft Excel (data analysis, generating of graphs, charts etc.)
• Experience on use of common precision measurement tools and instruments (e.g., Vernier Calliper, Micro-meter, Height Gauge, Pulling force gauge, frequency converter, Optical Measuring Machines, thermocouple, thermal imager, pulse controller, data logger)
• Ability to build things physically.
• Hands-on approach, independent at work, pro-activeness in problem-solving & willingness to learn
